Bryan A. Adkins received his call to preach when he was 16 years old and continues to this day. At the age of nineteen he was thrust into the role of Pastor in a most powerful way at the untimely death of his father-in-law, the founder of LTPC, Elder W.O. Bowman. Pastor Adkins has ministered to LTPC for twenty six years with his lovely wife, Lynne. She is cherished by the members of LTPC, as she serves in so many areas for the church. Having been raised in a pastor's home, she grew up under the watchful eyes of caring parents who trained her in the ways of God. What a Godly woman she is, and LTPC is the more blessed because of her. Pastor and Mrs. Adkins have two wonderful sons, Barton Joel and Bryan Matthew. Bart and his beautiful wife Stephanie serve as pastor at LTPC as well. Their son Matt and his lovely wife LaShona serve the church as music pastors, as well as music and media directors. Pastor Adkins has traveled extensively across the United State's and Canada, preaching and ministering in music. Pastor Adkins is a unique man in that he is a multi-talented individual. His ability to play many musical instruments, and write music and songs, has blessed the kingdom of God tremendously.
Pastor Adkins was born to Apostolic parents on August 1st, 1962. He received the Holy Ghost and was baptized at the age of twelve in Elm Grove, Ohio, pastored by his father, Charles and Vergie Adkins. He became music director at the age of sixteen, and co-wrote one of his most recognized songs, "You've Got to Keep On Walking."
In November of 2006 Pastor Adkins and his family celebrated their 25th Pastoral Anniversary service in Archdale, NC.
